Painting with chalk

{who knew that posting Every Single Day for a month would be so hard?!}

When it was warmer we spent a lovely summer day hanging out with friends at their house. The kids discovered the sidewalk chalk and got creative. They mixed in a bit of water, blended their own colors and painted themselves all the colors of the rainbow.

Too bad chalk dries so fast -- their vibrant colors turned to pale pastels all too quickly...
