I'm still sick, though not delirious anymore. There's a thick layer of fog outside, and the kids woke up much too early for my poor body.
Today will be a day of quiet.
I will curl up with Dwell, Real Simple, and Martha's holiday issue (don't laugh, I really like it). And a steaming hot cup of tea.
I will listen to Carla Bruni.
I will serve up the veggie soup I made in a haze yesterday afternoon.
I will do puzzlemania with the kids.
I might even play Monopoly even though B regularly whoops our butts.
I won't play Chutes and Ladders. I won't.

Thank you so much for saying such kind things. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit -- I'm quite enjoying the process of writing!
The garland IS super easy, and a very nice, quiet activity to focus on :-)
