Continuing our trip around the world, this week we are off to Italy. It's been a busy week, so we haven't gotten very far in our exploration. We've had several discussions about what to cook. The parents would prefer not to have pasta or pizza. The kids would really, really like to make pasta or pizza. Any suggestions?
A few months ago on "Everyday Italian" (Food Network), she had kids on with easy kid friendly recipes. They looked pretty yummy.

How about bruschetta, limoncello, ragout avec saucisses, oven zucchini ... ? Also, Rachel Ray's got some 30-minute recipes (some kid-friendly) that might help : http://www.rachaelraymag.com/30_minute_meals/

what about chicken cacciatore, osso bucco or risotto...good winter type meals. I just love this idea!
