To celebrate the winter solstice we spent the day playing cards, eating croissants sent by a very generous friend of my mother's, building cities out of Duplos, and with a visit to the ice skating rink in the company of our dear cousins.
It was another perfect day.
Flowers in the winter! Nice.
We had grey, grey, grey. Fog, no snow, even in Michigan. Saul was talking this morning on the way to school about putting down sheets of paper on the front lawn to pretend that it was snow.
